SoloARV stores trial data only on your device, in chrome.storage.local. The image-to-outcome mapping is encrypted with AES-GCM-128. The extension makes a single kind of network request: when you ask it to judge a sketch, it sends the two target photographs, your sketch, and your written notes to Anthropic's Claude API, using the API key you supplied. Nothing else leaves the device. There are no analytics, no third-party scripts, no remote code, and no telemetry. You can wipe everything from Settings → Clear all stored trial data.
SoloARV is a Chrome extension that lets a single person run an Associative Remote Viewing (ARV) trial on their own. This policy explains what data SoloARV stores, where it lives, and what — if anything — leaves your device.
If anything in this policy is unclear or seems inconsistent with how the extension actually behaves, email support@soloarv.com. We will fix the policy or fix the extension.
| Category | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic API key | chrome.storage.local |
Sent only to api.anthropic.com for judging. |
| Voice / speech-rate setting | chrome.storage.local |
Used to read the tasking prompt aloud. |
| In-progress trial state | chrome.storage.local |
Lets you close and resume the trial across days. |
| Pool image indices (encrypted) | chrome.storage.local |
Identifies which two photos from the bundled pool are used this trial. Encrypted alongside the outcome mapping. |
| Image-to-outcome mapping | chrome.storage.local |
Encrypted with AES-GCM-128 (key generated per trial). |
| Saved trial history (after feedback) | chrome.storage.local |
Lets you review past trials. |
You can export saved trial records as JSON from the Feedback screen, and you can wipe everything with a single button on the Settings page (double confirmation required).
A fresh install of SoloARV does not contact any server. There is no telemetry, no analytics ping, no remote-loaded script, no font or CDN call.
There is exactly one network call the extension can make: when you press Submit my drawing for judging (or Test connection in Settings), the extension sends an HTTPS POST to https://api.anthropic.com/v1/messages containing:
x-api-key header.Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/legal/privacy describes how Anthropic handles that data. Your API key is sent only to Anthropic and is never transmitted to SoloARV's authors or anyone else.
SoloARV does not require an account. The Pro license is verified locally against your stored license key — no license server is contacted. SoloARV does not have an update endpoint beyond the Chrome Web Store's own.
None. The SoloARV authors do not receive your data, your sketches, your trial history, or your API key. There is no SoloARV server.
The extension does not set or read cookies.
We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your data — there is no data to share, because we never receive any. The only third party involved is Anthropic, and only when you initiate a judging request using your API key.
Wherever you live, you have the right to:
If you are in the EU/UK, the legal basis for processing is consent: you choose to send a judging request and you supply the API key that authenticates it.
If you are in California, you have the rights described in the CCPA. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
SoloARV is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). The extension does not knowingly process any personal data of children.
